The GFWC York County Woman’s Club (GFWC-YC) is a proud supporter of the military families in the county and is offering 2 (two) $5,000 college scholarships to 2 (two) York County high school seniors whose parent(s) are a veteran, reservist, or current service member.

 

This scholarship is available for the 2026-2027 school year and can be used at any post-secondary school. Scholarship money will be sent directly to the school for tuition.

 

Two recommendations are requested—one from a teacher and one from another adult with personal knowledge of the student’s reputation or achievements.

 

Applications must be submitted via the links below by April 30, 2026.

All applications will be reviewed on May 18, 2026 on the basis of both need and merit.

Winners will be announced no later than May 27, 2026.
